ABOUT THE CULTIVATING THE MIND SPEAKER SERIES

Cultivating the Mind at the HeartWell Institute is a continuing education venue that specializes in offering professional learning opportunities for Mental Health Professionals and Educators in Massachusetts. The founders of Cultivating the Mind are Michael Cirillo, Ph.D., Robert Lenhardt, LICSW, Bertha-Elena Rojas, Psy.D., M.Ed. and Zayda Vallejo, M.Litt.

The Cultivating the Mind Speakers Series features workshops by the founders and guest speakers on the specific topics of Brain Functioning, Meditation and Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Brain Health Throughout the Life-Span and Lifestyle Changes. CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

​*Continuing Education Credit for Psychologists:
The HeartWell Institute is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The HeartWell Institute maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

*Continuing Education for Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW):
Approval for continuing education credits has been applied for. Please refer to this section in the individual workshop description pages, for specific NASW credit approval for specific offerings.

*Credit Hours for Mental Health Counselors: 
Workshops and offerings are submitted to the NBCC for approval. Please refer to this section in the individual workshop description pages, for specific NBCC credit approval for specific offerings.

*Professional  Development Credits (PDPs) for Educators:   
Massachusetts educators are eligible to receive PDPs by attending more than one workshop where the total of hours adds up to at least 10 hours. For more information or questions, please email ctmspkr@gmail.com.

There is no known commercial support for this program or conflict of interest with the speakers and any of the workshop offerings in this series.

GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION

Registration: To register for specific events, find the event of your choice in the Heartwell Institute's menu pages. Event titles appear by moving the cursor through the event blocks. Events may be listed under the Workshops and/or Retreat pages. Click the event of your choice for detailed information about individual events and to register.

Refund Policy: Full refunds minus a $15.00 administrative fee are available up to the day before of the event. To cancel registration and request a refund, please email ctmspkr@gmail.com.

Event Location: Events are held at the HeartWell Institute or online, unless otherwise specified. The HeartWell Institute is located at 1015 Pleasant Street, Worcester, MA 01602. The HeartWell Institute's parking is accessible via Moreland Street off Pleasant Street. Once on Moreland Street take a left into Biltmore Road. The HeartWell Institute and parking are located at the end of the street. You may input 10 Biltmore Road, Worcester, MA 01602 into your GPS to access the parking behind the building.
